Your PostHog credentials

Postlytics connects to your own PostHog instance with a personal API key you provide. That key is stored only in your device's iOS Keychain and is sent exclusively to the PostHog host you choose (US cloud, EU cloud, or your self-hosted server).

Your PostHog API key and analytics data never pass through or touch Postlytics servers.

Account data

Sign-in is handled by Supabase — via Sign in with Apple or an email magic link. We store only what's needed to keep you signed in and manage your subscription status (the profiles table: identifier and subscription state).

Purchases

Subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store and managed by RevenueCat. We receive an anonymous entitlement status (pro or not) — never your payment details.

Diagnostics and our own analytics

Crash reports go to Sentry, and anonymized product usage events go to our own PostHog project. Neither includes your PostHog API key or your project's analytics data.
